Matt Damon And Ben Affleck Reunite For ‘Incorporated’ TV Series: ‘The Good Wife’ Producer Ted Humphrey To Executive Produce, Project Not To Conflict With ‘Batman Vs Superman’ Filming

Fans who suddenly feel nostalgic for the Hollywood pair that brought them "Goodwill Hunting" will be happy to know that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will be getting back together, but this time on TV.

Today it was announced that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will be getting a spy espionage TV series to air on the Syfy network. The series, which is entitled 'Incorporated', will be headed by "The Good Wife" producer Ted Humphrey. In addition, those worried about Affleck being stretched too thin will be happy to know that the series will not conflict with "Batman Vs Superman" filming.

Almost two years ago Ben Affleck told Playboy (via Popsugar) about his friendship with Matt Damon.

"Having a friend you've been connected to since you were a little kid, that's grounding. Matt and my brother, Casey, are the two people I rely on the most, emotionally and professionally," he said.

Perhaps Affleck feels a new contentment to know that he'll soon be seeing much more of Damon as the two are gearing up for a new TV series to air on Syfy. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will be a drama entitled "Incorporated," that is described as a "futuristic espionage thriller set in a world where corporations have seemingly unlimited power."

The big name attached in the showrunner and executive producer position is "The Good Wife's" Ted Humphrey. He snagged the position due to his talent as well as an overall deal with the studio. Pearl Street Films, which is headed by Damon and Affleck, had ordered a pilot for "The Middle Man" but gave it up because of it's conflict with Ben Affleck's "Batman Vs Superman" schedule. This time it appears Affleck is in the clear as filming for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" should be wrapped in time for him to begin work on the series.

All in all, it's great news for the Syfy network as Matt Damon and Ben Affleck should definitely draw in viewers, even if "Incorporated" turns out to be otherwise lacking. There's currently no set schedule as to when the series may air.
