Google Nexus 6 Motorola Release Date Announced Ahead Of Schedule? Appears On AT&T Site For Only $49 On-Contract

If you have been reading the latest reports, then you are probably aware that the Google Nexus 6 Motorola release date will be held tomorrow in a Google event.

However, it looks like a local US carrier is too excited that it had launched the retail page of the new Nexus smartphone on its website.

According to a report by Phone Arena, AT&T has listed the Motorola Nexus 6 on its website, and even its pricing. In the listing, the Nexus 6 costs only $49 on a two-year contract.

Considering the rumored specs of the device, $49 on contract is certainly cheap. In case missed some alleged specs, the new Google hero phone otherwise called Nexus X, and even Motorola Shamu, boasts a 5.9-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805 chipset.

If we remember correctly, the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Note 4 boasts similar specs to the rumored Nexus 6 specs, save for the slighly smaller 5.7-inch display.

Still, with just $50, an AT&T subscriber can already get his hands on this new Android powered smartphone from Google - that is if the listing is true.

All should be unveiled by tomorrow, including the complete list of specs and the retailers and carriers which would offer it right away.

Also joining the Nexus X for the big reveal tomorrow is the Nexus 9 which is manufactured by HTC. It boasts a 2K display as well, but it is highlighted by a more graphics-superior Tegra K1 chipset from NVIDIA.
