PS Plus Free Games For October 2014 Includes 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' For PS3; Promised Free Trial Version Of DriveClub Not Arriving This Week?
Free trial version of racing game DriveClub might not arrive together with the list of PS Plus free games for October 2014.
In total, there will be 6 PS Plus free games announced for members this month and it includes new game releases and Cross-Buy titles.
Three of these PS Plus free games are set to hit the market this October. As noted on the post from the US.PlayStation.blog.com, PS4 game "Dust: An Elysian Tail," as well as Pix The Cat for PS Vita will debut both on the PlayStation Store and PlayStation Plus and luckily, PS Plus members will be getting them for free.
PS4 owners with PS Plus membership can also get Spelunky for no cost at all, according to a report on GameSpot.com. The game is also set to launch this month. Spelunky is a cross-buy title, which means that members will also have support for both the PS3 and PS Vita versions.
PS3 owners will be able to get Batman: Arkham Asylum for free, as well as the Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara.
Meanwhile, PS Vita users can get the role-playing game, Rainbow Moon. As described on the blog post, the game is "filled with exploration, turn-based battles, and character development."
On top of the PS Plus free games for October, it was also revealed that members will be able to acquire a bonus game -- the free DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition. The trial version is offering 10 cars and a country event. However, it seems that the game won't be launching together with the other free games this week.
DriveClub was released on October 7 in the US. Unfortunately, it was followed by complaints from players who downloaded the Evolution Studio's driving game. Accordingly, gamers were having issues connecting online and this problem caused the delay of the released of the free PS Plus edition of DriveClub.
