Iggy Azalea Racist Twitter Response To Snoop Dogg Diss? 'Black Widow' And 'Gin And Juice' Rappers' Feud Heats Up, TI Plays Peacemaker

Things escalated quickly in the feud between Snoop Dogg and Iggy Azalea, which began Monday after the rap legend slammed the up-and-comer in an Instagram post. Azalea fired back, incurring the wrath of Snoop’s fans, before he posted a profanity-laced video directed at her.  Now it seems Azalea’s manager and mentor, T.I.  has stepped in to play peacemaker, and it looks like his efforts have worked. Snoop apologized to Azalea, and she was quick to accept.

This whole thing appears to have started when Snoop posted a picture of an albino-looking woman on Instagram, with a caption that read, “Iggy Azalea no makeup.” It is unclear what the rapper’s initial beef with Azalea was, but many have speculated that he may have taken issue with her perceived racism. Azalea has often been accused of appropriating Southern Hip Hop culture, which she, as a white Australian, has no authentic connection to. She hasn’t always helped her own case - doing things like, at one point, insisting that it’s okay for her to use the n-word.

Azalea responded to Snoop’s post with a tweet saying, “I’m disappointed you’d be such an ass for no reason.”  Snoop’s friend and fellow rapper Daz Dillinger then fired back, telling TMZ, “Bitch needs to stay in her place before we get Nicki Minaj, the real rapper, on her ass!” The situation then escalated even further Tuesday evening, when Azalea posted a photo of Snoop to Instagram, with a caption reading, “When your drug addict aunt gets clean,” which many fans believed was racially charged. The conflict hit a boiling point Wednesday afternoon, when Snoop posted a video in which he told Azalea, “You’re f*cking with the wrong n***a, and your n***a better check you before I do,” before calling her a c*nt.

The situation then took a sudden turn for the better Wednesday evening, when Snoop posted another video, in which he apologized to Azalea. Explaining that he had just gotten off the phone with T.I., Snoop says in the video, “It’s officially over. No more bad talk. I apologize.” Azalea responded by tweeting, “I appreciate the apology @SnoopDog,” and then, “Let that be that people, time to focus on the positive things I’ve got going on. No time to dwell on the negative.”
