Winds Of Winter Release Date Affected By Lawsuit Involving Author George R.R. Martin? Spoilers Coming Out In Upcoming Seth Meyers Guesting?

Will the lawsuit involving George R.R. Martin further delay the "Winds of Winter" release date? With the author's confirmed guesting on the show with Seth Meyers, fans are ALSO wondering whether spoilers will be provided by GRRM.

A film production company asked for more than $1 million after a partner pulled out of a deal to produce a movie based on George R. R. Martin's novella titled "The Skin Trade."

The Panthera Entertainment, represented by Edward Jarzobski and Matt Flynn, filed a case in court against Mike the Pike Productions, represented by Mark B. Newbauer on October 9 at the Douglas County Court.

According to the agreement, Pathera will fund the movie based on George R. R. Martin's novella "The Skin Trade," which will be adapted into the movie by Mike the Pike.

Meanwhile, George R. R. Martin will be one of the guests for a late night TV show hosted by Seth Meyers. The announcement was made by the author himself through his blog.

"I will be making an appearance on the Seth Meyers show on Tuesday, October 28 and doing an event at the 92nd street Y with Laura Miller on Sunday, October 26," the author said.

Whether Seth Meyers and author George R. R. Martin will talk about his upcoming book, don't expect any announcement on the "Winds of Winter" release date as the author has repeatedly said that he doesn't have any idea when.

Previously, the "Winds of Winter" release date was reported to be for 2015 according to an article from Christian Times, who quoted George R.R. Martin as saying in a statement: "I'm happy to announce that Winds of Winter will be released at the conclusion of this season of Game of Thrones.

But publisher Jane Johnson cleared the air when she wrote on her Twitter: "@foster_bt 'Not a 2015 release.' No change there as far as I'm aware."
