In the last two episodes, Red and Liz traveled across the world to pin down two very dangerous doctors, but in the next episode, called "The Front," they will deal with another kind of danger in the form of an ecological extremist who is not averse to using disease as a weapon to achieve a perverted goal.

The new villain, according to the "The Blacklist" season 2, episode 5 spoilers, has acquired lab samples of a pneumonic plague, and the FBI has been called to the scene.

A still photo released by NBC, however, shows Liz in the hospital bed which might mean that she's infected as well, and it's going to be personal for Red.

The love-hate relationship between Liz and Red continues, but the producers are not about to reveal the real score between the two. Fans have been wondering about whether Red is the real father of Liz after it was revealed that her father adopted her when she was still a girl.

Red killed her adopted father and it's not known whether he didn't want him to suffer from cancer further, or because Liz's father threatened to tell the truth about her story.
