Kardashian Kollection Criticized By Fashion Journalist For Alleged Tackiness; Kim, Khloe, And Kourtney’s Collection Compared To Halloween Costumes

Fashion editor Teri Agins has labeled the Kardashian Kollection as substandard and even compared the pieces to tacky Halloween costumes. In her newly released book entitled "Hijacking the Runway: How Celebrities Are Stealing the Spotlight From Fashion," Agins claims that she examined several clothing items from the sisters' collection.

During a visit to one of Sears branches, Agins examined a leopard mini-dress with thin straps. Agins thinks that the animal print is unrealistic as it was only rubber-stamped onto the fabric. She also claims that the fabric was very thin. The dress was originally priced at $32.99 but was reduced to $9.99. "I would have rejected it as too tacky," wrote Agins,

The journalist also notes that shoppers do not give much attention to Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney's collection even if most racks are priced at 50 percent off: "It was only a couple weeks into September, and the new fall merchandise in the Kardashian Kollection looked untouched."

She described the whole line has "really shoddy merchandise."

While Agins initially believes that the Kardashian Kollection, which includes dresses, tops, bottoms, and shoes, has a lot of potential, closer inspection of the items reportedly disappointed her.

Meanwhile, none of the sisters have addressed the criticism of their clothing line. Is it possible that Kim and Khloe Kardashian are still finding it difficult to talk to each other?

It was previously reported that the two sisters might be feuding following Kim's post on Twitter about people sharing too much quotes on their social networking sites. Kanye West's wife says that people who do such thing has personality problems and while she claimed that she wasn't pertaining to her sister, Khloe was allegedly not pleased.
