Nina Dobrev Threatens To Leave ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Because Of Ian Somerhalder And Nikki Reed’s PDA On Set? ‘Twilight’ Actress Already Banned From Set?

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed reportedly cannot help but show their affection for each other whenever they're on the set of "The Vampire Diaries." This allegedly makes Nina Dobrev uncomfortable that she wants to leave her role in the hit CW series.

For this reason, producers of the show have allegedly asked Somerhalder to not bring his new lady love on set whenever Dobrev is present. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev dated for more than three years before calling it quits reportedly because of Dobrev's unwillingness to settle down.

"Ian and Nikki's relationship is causing a lot of drama", claimed one source to Hollywood Life. The show insider also reports that "producers have asked Ian not to bring Nikki to set when Nina is there because they are very worried about losing her."

Nina Dobrev and Nikki Reed used to be good friends but the latter's relationship with the "Lost" actor allegedly caused a falling apart: "Exactly what they promised wouldn't happen has happened, and it's getting in the way of their work."

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's affections might have been "banned" on the set of "The Vampire Diaries" but nothing can stop the two from flaunting their romance on their social networking sites. Recently, the new couple adopted a kitten after Reed spent some time with her beau to "give some love to the babies living in cages."

The 35-year-old heartthrob also acknowledged Reed on Instagram last October 8. Somerhalder shared a photo of him with Reed and his two female dogs.

"A day with 3 of the most beautiful ladies in the universe... Wow smiling is such a beautiful part of the human experience-I highly recommend it. Congrats to our little Neitczhe here-1 year ago today, to the minute, you brought 5 beautiful puppies into this world-thank you for your amazing contribution to all of our lives," he wrote as caption.

He also tagged Reed in the post and thanked her for her efforts: "Thank you for giving so much of your life and for being a strong voice for those whom can speak. My hat is off to you. You amaze me. Love, Ian"
