Carrie Underwood Pregnant News: Former American Idol Lets Go Of Riding Motorcycle; Hustles For CMA Awards;

Carrie Underwood pregnant news took the country singer for a loop and postponed her plans to learn to ride a motorcycle, and the former "American Idol's" baby bump will also change the way she will be hosting the CMA Awards.

The motorcycle was a gift by Miranda Lambert, whom she collaborated with for "Somethin' Bad." To give the former "American Idol" confidence to ride the big bike, her husband Mike Fisher bought her a small dirt bike to hone her driving skills, said a Taste of Country.

However, the Carrie Underwood pregnant news "has kind of thrown a monkey wrench" into her progress.

The singer shared: "Mike bought me a little dirt bike to learn how to ride on first because the bike [Lambert bought] is a really big bike. It's kind of serious, so I need some practice, and I was like, 'OK, I guess we'll have to take a timeout on the motorcycle lessons for a while!'"

Also, there's going to be a bit of a change in the way she will host the CMA Awards as an offshoot of the Carrie Underwood pregnant news. In the previous years she hosted the event, she underwent countless wardrobe changes.

"I don't know if I can keep up with those numbers, just from pure exhaustion," she said.

Carrie Underwood will team up with Brad Paisley for the seventh time as they will host the 48th CMA Awards scheduled on November 5. They have been working with the show's writers, particularly on the funny spiels.

The show's head writer, David Wild, said that the Carrie Underwood pregnant news also surprised them.

"Carrie once again provided a huge spark for us by getting knocked up," he said, according to The Boot. "She gave us the greatest baby gift of all and ... so I think [the content] will be a balance of how much we want to go there versus what she'll put up with."
