Gwen Stefani's 'Weve Never Done Anything But Make Out And Have Kids' Comment Surfaces With Team Partner-Husband Gavin Rossdale As The Voice Battle Rounds Continue

The Voice Part 3 Battle Rounds continue with news outlets remembering Gwen Stefani's comments about having a hard time and feeling nervous working with her husband as a team mate. The No Doubt vocalist has previously taken in her husband and Bush frontman, Gavin Rossdale in the show as Pharrell Williams took the Grammy-winner Alicia Keys. Blake Shelton, on the other hand, made the band Little Big Town as his coach and Adam Levine took Stevie Nicks to take care of his contestants.

"It was just awkward, because we had never done anything [together]. We had only collaborated on making babies together, we had never done anything outside [of that]. I was really nervous about having him there, we have different opinions about music. We like different music, and I was like, 'You know what? Let's embrace it. Let's just do it,'" the singer-fashion designer told Us Weekly.

Further, she said that the announcement that she is replacing Christina Aguilera's place is a surprise and that the whole idea of being one of The Voice judges is a new thing to her. And there are nights when she and Rossdale got into a fight about it.

"We literally got in a fight the night before because I was like, 'I don't know about this...'" she recalled. "I got calmed down and it was really fun," Stefani further said.

In Gwen's team, she had Jessie Pitts from Alabama and Ryan Sill from Virginia with them performing Ellie Goulding and Calvin Harris' "I Need Your Love." The mother-of-three retained Ryan Still but luckily, Black saved Jessie and puts her as a new member in his team.

Pharrrel William's contestants, DaNica Shirey and Toia Jones are said to be the best in that battle round as they compete for their rendition of Beyonce's "Halo".

The Happy singer decided to save Danica but judges Gwen and Adam tried to save Toie Jones which made her, in the end, to be transferred to Team Adam.

The Part 3 Battle Rounds continue this week until the judges will narrow down the number of contestants who are deserving to reach the Knockout Rounds.
