Stanley Tucci & Felicity Blunt Pregnancy News Confirmed! Couple Expecting First Child Just And Releasing Co-Written Cookbook!

Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt have confirmed their pregnancy news.

The couple revealed that they are expecting their first child together during the Mario Batali Foundation Dinner at Del Posto on Sunday, Oct. 19.

"I'm very excited to be a dad. It's incredible. I'm most excited to have a baby with Felicity and for the baby to be healthy," gushed Tucci to Us Weekly at the event, adding, "The sex is of no concern to me. The sex of the baby, that is."

When asked what kind of mother he thinks his wife Felicity will be, the "Hunger Games" actor enthusiastically replied, "A great one!"

Tucci, 53, and Blunt, 33, a British literary agent, have been married for two years. The couple was set up by Blunt's younger sister Emily who worked with Tucci on the film "The Devil Wears Prada."

Tucci also has three children from his marriage to Kathryn Tucci, who passed away in 2009 from breast cancer.

In edition to providing Tucci's children with another sibling, the couple's pregnancy news means that Emily Blunt and John Krasinski's daughter Hazel will have a brand new playmate.

Emily and her actor husband welcomed their first bundle of joy, Hazel, earlier this year.

As for Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt, their pregnancy is not the only project that the couple has been working on.

The spouses also co-wrote a cookbook together. The collection, entitled "The Tucci Table," will be released on Oct. 28 and features recipes inspired by Tucci's Italian heritage and Blunt's British background.  

When recently discussing the cookbook with USA Today, Tucci revealed that his pregnant wife has been having "odd cravings. Just depends month by month. Sometimes she wants prosciutto and salty meats. That's usually it. And a particular kind of whole grain bread that a bakery makes right near us. And mangos."
