Hugh Jackman Cancer Scare Continues As Wolverine Star Spotted With Bandage On His Nose, Again; Urges Fans To “Please, Please Wear Sunscreen”

Hugh Jackman cancer reports are in the limelight again as the Australian celebrity is spotted with a bandage on his nose while he was out with his family in one of their strolls in a street in West Village, New York, the Daily Mail reports.

Photos from the Daily Mail show the 45-year old star wearing a black hoodie and black sunglasses that concealed most of his face. He matched it with blue jeans and grey sneakers. He was walking with his pet puppy. With him are his wife Debra Lee Furness, daughter Ava, and his son Oscar.

In the photos, the award-winning actor tried to avoid the camera but despite efforts to hide it, a bandaged plastered on Hugh's nose is visible in the photos.

The Wolverine star has two previous operations this year for his Basel Cell Carsinoma. The first is on November last year and the latest in May in the heights of the promotion of the blockbuster X-Men: Days Of Future Past. On May, he posted a photo on Instagram showing the bridge of his nose covered with bandage. In it is a caption that goes, "Another Basel Cell Carsinoma [sic]. All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!"

In one of their movie premieres in Singapore, the actor did not hide the scars on his nose caused by the operation and had worn a transparent, subtle plaster on his face. This however, did not alter the warm welcome from fans who posed with him in the red carpet and asked for his autograph.

In a separate interview with ABC, the actor said that he has accepted his imperfection and considers himself lucky in spite everything.

"It's all preventable. I was lucky to be in a job, where I have makeup artists looking at my face, going, 'What is that?'  And my wife nagging me to go and get it checked out, " he said.

Said to have started when he was 30, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine role has been going on for 15 years now. The offer was originally given to Russell Crowe but the gladiator recommend the director, Bryan Singer, to consider Hugh instead.
