Megan Fox News: 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Star Down In China; Brian Austin-Green's Wife Joins James Franco In 'Zeroville'

In the latest Megan Fox news, the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star apparently missed the red carpet premiere in China after developing skin allergy. Meanwhile, Brian Austin-Green's wife will join James Franco for the new film, "Zeroville."

The E! News revealed the latest Megan Fox news as it revealed that fans left the premiere disappointed after they failed to see the 28-year-old wife of Brian Austin-Green at the event.

"Many fans were left surprised given the fact that on Sunday morning, the actress joined producers for a press conference at the Shangri-La Hotel in Beijing to discuss the film's release. During the event, Fox even shared how beautiful Beijing was to look at outside her window," it said.

The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" star's no-show triggered speculations that Megan Fox got affected by the polluted air, a report which Fox quickly dispelled.

"She had an allergic reaction but not because of the pollution," an insider told The Hollywood Reporter said about the Megan Fox news.

According to THR, Megan Fox arrived on Saturday to promote "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" when Beijing was covered with thick smog. In fact, the "concentration was more than 20 times higher than the 25 recommended for 24-hour exposure by the World Health Organization."

Meanwhile, in other Megan Fox news, Brian Austin-Green's wife is set to join James Franco, who's playing the role of Vikar in "Zeroville," alongside Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Dave Franco, Horatio Sanz and Joey King.

"Franco is directing and stars as a naive loner who's drawn to the film business, becomes mistaken for a Manson family member and gets hired as a film editor," reported Deadline.

The film is an adaptation of the 2007 novel by Steve Erickson, said LA Times, which described James Franco's character as "movie-obsessed."

"Vikar has a tattoo of Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift on his bald head and a native gift for film editing. As a film, it'll be kind of meta," the publication said.
