Katie Price News: Model Says She Receives ChitChat Twitter Messages From Pistorious; South African Paralympian Convict Thanking Her For Support

Katie Price News: The model and author proudly claims that she has received text messages via Twitter directly from the South African paralympian Pistorius while he is in court undergoing a trial for alleged homicide of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, Independent UK reports. Price first shared the experience to The Mirror saying that the former athlete keeps in contact with her for mentioning him in his column.

"He was direct messaging me during the case. It's weird, isn't it? He was saying, 'Thanks for the support,' and stuff. Just all general chit-chat. He was the first one to message me," she proudly announced.

Further she said, "Because I mentioned him in my column, he was referencing that. I wasn't exactly supporting him, but everyone who goes through a trial will be the only one who knows what really happened. You're innocent until you're proven guilty."

Price professed equality among individuals especially in court in article published in her Now column in March. The Daily Mail quoted some lines that the model said in her column: "We are all equal when it comes to judicial undertakings'. And further, she is "certainly not going to judge Oscar on other people's theories portrayed via the media."

It is reported it was Katie's brother who first noticed Pistorious text message. In the same interview with The Mirror, Price said that his brother having noticed the South African's text said,  'Oh my god, Kate - have a look at who's direct messaged you on Twitter.' I said, 'It's got to be fake.' He said, 'No, it's from his verified account.'"

Recently, Pistorius is given a five-year imprisonment sentence after he is proven guilty of the homicide case. Though, there are petitions that the alleged is to have a minor 10-month sentence behind bars with the remaining period under house arrest, but the petition is not carried out.
