Carrie Underwood Expecting A Baby Boy! Brad Paisley ‘Accidentally’ Reveals The Gender Of Songstress’s Unborn Child At The 2014 CMAs!

It's official! Carrie Underwood is having a baby boy!

The news that the 31-year-old country crooner is expecting a son with husband Mike Fisher was announced by Brad Paisley at the 2014 CMA Awards. However, it appears that the gender reveal may have been an accident.

"And we're pregnant!" exclaimed Paisley as he and Underwood took to the stage for their opening monologues as hosts for the country music event. "Brad, I don't remember you being there," added Carrie, who showed off her baby bump in several dazzling dresses throughout the evening.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Paisley and Underwood have hosted the CMAs. However, this year, there was a third country music fan on the stage with the duo... Carrie's unborn child.

"Carrie, you can't keep me out of this child's life," said Paisley. He then begged to know the baby's gender. After putting up with Brad for long enough, Underwood whispered in her co-host's ear, secretly confessing whether her future little one is a boy or a girl.

"I know something you all don't know. Suck it TMZ," chanted Paisley, adding, "We should name him Garth!"

There you have it. She's having a boy!

Underwood appeared to be holding back some serious frustration due to her co-host's slip. But knowing the playful antics of Brad and Carrie on stage, the unexpected reveal was likely all for the show.

The gender news was later confirmed in a Twitter post by the Country Music Association.

This will be the first child for Underwood and her NHL star husband.

Underwood recently revealed during an appearance with Paisley on ABC's "The View" that she is "due in the spring." As for her anxiety over becoming a mom for the first time, the songstress confessed to having one main concern.

"Just being responsible for a tiny human," she told the talk show's hosts.
