Harry Styles Interview 2014: One Direction Heartthrob Faces Jokes About His Gender; Question On Being Bisexual Resurfaced

Harry Styles' gender and dating styles has always been under scrutiny as One Direction continues to make waves in the charts. However, in an interview in 2014 with On Demand Entertainment called Fourplay, the One Direction band mate reveals that his needs are simple.

In an interview with Liam Payne, Harry said that "personality", "very natural"  "being nice to people" and having a "sense of humor" are what he looks for in a girl.

Other tabloids like the Daily Mail have another angle for Harry's answer saying that his partner's gender does not matter and has related it to rumors of being bisexual.

The On Demand Entertainment host asked the Liam and Harry for their opinions on the traits they want from a lady. Liam answered first saying, "Female. That's an important trait."

But the 20-year old Harry is quick to respond shaking his head saying, "Not that important."

The clip of the interview was first posted in MTV Canada which wrote the article entitled "Did Harry Styles just say he's bisexual?"

The heartthrob's support for LGBT rights has been a highlight for Harry for years now especially with that one concert at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis in August when he was wearing a Michael Sam Jersey, an NFL player who openly admits he is gay and demands that he will still be allowed to play despite his gender.

Aside from Styles, other celebrities like Daniel Radcliffe and Jason Collins show support for Michael Sam, Advocate said.

In an interview in 2013 with GQ Magazine, he said, "Bisexual? Me? I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I'm not," he said.

The singer is recently dating the 32-year old comedy writer Erin Foster who is also a strong supporter of gay rights.

Meanwhile, in the Four Play interview, the host asked other things to the One Direction boys including the things they are bad at doing.

Liam Payne answered first saying it is ice skating. When Harry answered, he said, "I'm bad at skateboarding, I'm bad at speaking Italian. I'm bad at gymnastics...and singing."
