Jennifer Lopez's Reveals 'True Love'; Admits She Seeks Comfort From Marc Anthony To Forget Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez reveals that she finally has her "True Love", her book that she is currently promoting. In an interview with Arianna Huffington of Huffington Post on Monday, the 44-year old popstar shares that the book is about her big romances including her long engagement to Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony, her love for her kids Max and Emme and career struggles that lead her to a big important realization: to nurture self-love.

"I don't need anybody else. I want somebody else, that would be nice, but I gotta be happy and whole on my own first. I gotta heal from things. You gotta give yourself time and space ... to grow and to realize things about yourself, to become your own best friend, to love yourself. That's what the book is about," the Booty singer explained.

Further, the singer stated that loving oneself is the 'biggest key to life' and the said realization will make one feel complete without seeking other people's attention and love. And that love from others is just something to add what has already been there.

In the interview, the I Luh Yah Papi singer revealed the truth behind marrying Marc Anthony, a decision she had made months after she and long-term boyfriend Ben Affleck split.

"When Ben and I split up at the moment when I thought we were committing to each other forever it was my first real heartbreak, it felt like my heart had been torn out of my chest. People do lots of things to anesthetize themselves in moments like these. Some people do drugs, some drink and some go out and party. I sought out comfort in another person, tried to find someone who could make me feel loved and wanted in my loneliest hours. And that was the moment when Marc reappeared in my life," she said.

Meanwhile, in another interview with Maria Shriver on NBC as quoted by Today, the diva talks about the book in another light. She opens up her dreams for her children, Max and Emme which is to learn independence.

"I want both of them to be independent, good on their own first. Like, whole people, what they have to contribute, what they have to offer, just as if they had nothing, just as the person that they are," she said.

Jennifer Lopez is currently single following her split from recent boyfriend Casper Smart whom she still keeps as friend. She and husband Marc Anthony filed for a divorce since 2011 but the process is finalized just this year.
