'The Following' Season 3 Cast Kevin Bacon Claims Character Ryan Hardy Will Be Truly Happy; Wife Kyra Sedgwick Dishes On Their Marriage

"The Following" season 3 cast Kevin Bacon claimed that his character Ryan Hardy has a chance to be really happy as his wife, Kyra Sedgwick dished on the secret to their marriage, which has gone on for 26 years now.

In an interview with Buddy TV, "The Following" season 3 cast Kevin Bacon promised that fans would be treated to a happier Ryan.

"This season, I truly am happy. In the first episode, I will smile a lot. You'll see teeth. ...There's a beautiful woman who's come into my life and the exploration of that character and how I'm able or not able to open myself up to that character is going to be a big part of where things go character-wise," he said.

Previous report from Screenrant said that "The Following" season 3 cast Kevin Bacon's Ryan still have some things to resolve with Joe Carroll.

"There are a lot of scenes with Ryan visiting Joe in prison but they're trying to do something different from Hannibal and similar shows," it said. "Additionally, Joe's story is just the tip of the iceberg. Mark will be a shark under the water - used in ways to surprise the audience."

For instance, in the premiere episode, the audience will find out who is the woman that Mark is in the car with at the end of last season's finale. Mark at this point is in a very dark place and he could be a "threat to anyone" such as Joe, Hardy or Mike.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Today, Kyra Sedgwick shared the secret to a long-term marriage.

"The secret is not to take advice about marriage from celebrities," she quipped.

When asked by one of the hosts whether it's true that she was gifted by "The Following" season 3 cast Kevin Bacon with a lingerie for Mother's Day, she says, "I always get lingerie."
