'Arrow' Season 3 Spoilers: Oliver's Alter Ego His Secret To Tell To Thea; Laurel Suits Up To Avenge Sara's Death

"Arrow" season 3 spoilers reveal that it is Oliver's choice whether to tell Thea his secret alter-ego as Laurel suits up to avenge Sara's death.

Showrunner Marc Guggenheim teased "Arrow" season 3 spoilers to TVLine as he said that if ever Thea will find out about Oliver's secret, it won't come from Malcolm.

"The reason Malcolm doesn't tell Thea Oliver's secret is because that is Oliver's secret to tell," he said.

"The thing about Malcolm is we've always tried to write him as 'the word's most principled bad guy.' He has a very distinct code of honor. Even when he destroyed the city at the end of Season 1, he considered it to be for very noble, altruistic purposes."

The showrunner said that Malcolm is not the typical villain so he has a strong belief that Oliver is like a son to him, which means he's not going to tell Thea his secret.

Meanwhile, Laurel will suit up as the Black Canary to avenge the death of her sister Sara.

According to TVLine, it's really not a surprise to fans as it was hinted during the finale of season 2 when Sara left behind her leather jacket to Laurel.

"But ever since Sara's subsequent death in the Season 3 premiere, Laurel has been on a mission to avenge the tragedy, and to that end has been training with boxer/former vigilante Ted 'Wildcat' Grant," it said.

Black Canary will make an appearance on episode 10 in January 2015, said the "Arrow" season 3 spoilers.

As Marc Guggenheim noted: "One of the things that we started the year off talking about was the idea of doing Ted Grant and Wildcat, for a couple of reasons. First of all, as comic book fans know, Ted Grant trained the original Black Canary, and the idea of him training Laurel, given what I call her comic book trajectory, was too juicy to pass up."
