Ashley Tisdale Holding Off On Baby Plans With Husband Christopher French, ‘Buzzy’s’ Star Focusing On Her Career

Now that Ashley Tisdale has tied the knot, is she ready to become a mom?

Not quite. The 29-year-old "High School Musical" alum recently revealed that she and her new husband Christopher French will likely put off having a baby for a while due to their busy careers.

When E! News asked the actress if she had any intention on starting a family with her musician husband Christopher, Tisdale quickly answered, "Not for a while." 

 "We're both so busy with work," explained Tisdale. "I have a series coming out in June for TBS called 'Buzzy's' and I'm really focused on doing stuff in fashion too as well. I have a lot of stuff in development, so kids aren't going to come for a while."

According to IMDB.com, "Buzzy's," the upcoming television series that Tisdale mentioned, is a half-hour sitcom centered on a group of people who went to high school together but ran in different circles. They now find themselves working together at a babershop in Charlestown, Massachusetts.

In addition to her acting career, Tisdale has also partnered up with ShoeDazzle to create a pair of boots to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

She also produces the sitcom "Young & Hungry" starring fellow Disney alum Emily Osment for ABC Family.

As for adding wife to her long list of roles, the newlywed couldn't help but gush over her husband Christopher French.

"It's great, it doesn't feel any different but it is," said Tisdale. "We wake up every morning and I'm like, 'Hi, husband' just to able to feel somewhat different because I married my best friend and it's been so amazing." 

The couple tied the knot on Sept. 8 in a private ceremony surrounded by 100 of their closest loved ones. Tisdale admited to E! that she loves being married. 

"We're very natural with each other, so it's been great, it's been awesome," she added.

Tisdale explained that the first time she called French her husband was "shocking."

"You're not used to it," she said. "But it's also so exciting...I have a husband, that's awesome."
