'The Heart Wants What It Wants' Singer Selena Gomez Sheds Light On Kendall Jenner Fight Rumors In An Interview With Ryan Seacrest

"The Heart Wants It Wants" singer Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner were thought of as frenemies after rumors of the two fighting over Justin Bieber sparked.

However, when photos and videos of Sel and Kendall together emerged during the 19th birthday celebration of Kim Kardashian's younger sister, fans went crazy.

Sel's friendship with Kendall is being likened to her on-again-off-again relationship with Biebs.

Just when things seemed to be really complicated, the very controversial "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer finally opens her mouth and explains everything to Ryan Seacrest in his "On Air" radio show.

When Ryan pointed out how Sel followed and then unfollowed Kendall on Instagram, the 22-year-old pop sensation quickly answered:

"We were never NOT friends, "All of it is for my fans. I didn't realize it was going to start that. I was just like, 'You know what, I'm just going to follow my fans.' I didn't know that [unfollowing] was like a thing."

The alleged fight between Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner sparked when Kylie - the youngest of the Kardashian brood - was thought of flirting with Justin Bieber at Coachella Music Festival.

"Kylie sent sexy pics of herself to Justin and that's what started the fight. Selena saw the pictures on Justin's phone and she freaked out and left immediately," an insider revealed to Hollywood Life.

That was when "The Heart Wants What It Wants" singer unfollowed the sisters on Instagram and reportedly deleted almost all of their pictures together.

"Selena flipped out and there was a huge fight between the girls. She now wants nothing to do with Kylie or Kendall. She was already getting bad vibes from Kylie- Selena thinks she parties way too hard. Selena was also furious at Justin. They're not together right now," RadarOnline added.

Adding insult to injury Kendall Jenner and Justin Bieber were reportedly caught flirting and hanging out secretly.

During the birthday celebration of Givenchy's designer Riccardo Tisci, Biebs and Kendall were among the A-list guests.

Rumor has it that Biebs spent the night flirting with the 18-year-old Kardashian model and can't get enough of Kendall.

According to a source of The Sun, "Kendall and Justin were inseparable for most of the night. Justin has always been good friends with the Kardashians, so he and Kendall go way back.

"As soon as Justin arrived he made a beeline for Kendall the moment he spotted her.

"They were seriously flirting and kept going in and out of a photobooth together. There was lots of laughing and teasing and they were taking endless selfies."

"After partying for about two hours they quietly slipped out of the party together and were seen holding hands."

But, as mentioned Selena Gomez did not have a fight with Kendall Jenner, it seems like it was all just a misunderstanding between Selenita's followers and her actions.
