Kim Kardashian Nude Photo Update: ‘KUWTK’ Star Calls Controversial Photo An Art Project, Does Not Mind Criticisms And Memes

While Kim Kardashian's nude photo did not completely break the Internet, it was enough to generate thousands of comments from web users. For the first time, Kanye West's wife talked about her controversial photo shoot for Paper magazine.

In an interview with Australain show "The Project," the "KUWTK" star explained what she got from working with celebrity photographer Jean-Paul Goude.

 "I was so honored and excited to work with [him] because he is a legend, and for me that was something I wanted to do to make myself feel confident. As a role model I'm not saying anyone else should do that, but for me it was an art project and it taught me to do what you want to do," she said.

Recent reports claim that Kim Kardashian's nude photo shoot was done for free. Working with Goude was the reason why the brunette beauty did not ask for a single penny.

Despite feeling honored to work with Goude, the 34-year-old admitted that the shoot made her body ache: "My back hurt for about a week after that shoot... I used muscles... [Goude] has an art of posing you and it was definitely not comfortable."

The Kim Kardashian nude photo shoot was not really planned. According to Paper magazine's editorial director Mickey Boardman, it was the mother-of-one's idea to take off her clothes.

Following the release of the controversial images, Internet memes have circulated. Celebrities like Naya Rivera, Ellen DeGeneres, and Portia de Rossi have also reacted to the photo shoot in their own ways.

The Kim Kardashian memes and spoofs, however, do not affect the "KUWTK" cast member.

 "I'm never one to preach, but I felt really positive and really good about myself. I love the photos, I did it for me, I hope other people like them," she said during the interview.
