Psy Appears on ABC's 'Nightline' Popularity Analyzed 'Americans Just Can't Get Enough'

Psy leading the "Gangnam Style" craze appeared on ABC news once again.

ABC's "Nightline" featured Psy on September 7, just a day after his debut appearance at the 2012 MTV VMAs. The TV news show covered the Psy and his international sensation "Gangnam Style."

Cynthia McFadden anchor of the show opened the Friday segment stating, "Nearly a 120 million YouTube hits, countless spin-offs and parodies. It seems Americans just can't get enough of the goofy Korean music video called, 'Gangnam Style.'"

"Gangnam Style" was introduced as number on iTunes music video, overtaking Justine Bieber and Katy Perry. Continued on the explanation of the song with infectious beat seems to have captured over millions of fans.

The segment included short clips of "Gangnam Style" flash mob video. ABC reporter David Wright mentioned, "He's funny. It's like a virus."

ABC also reported of Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun signed him a record deal. "We've come to an agreement to make some history together," according to Braun in a PR video released on Monday.
