The Highly Criticized iPhone5 Receives 200,000 Pre-Orders...'Exploding Popularity'

The highly criticized iPhone5 has been gaining much attention. Due to the unexpected popularity of the product, the delivery of the product might have to be delayed.

It has been reported today that the pre-orders for the iPhone5 has reached over 200,000 in just 24 hours after its release. This is twice as much as the pre-orders for the iPhone4S.

Apple commented, "The amount of pre-orders exceeds how much we have available now. We might have to delay the release from September to October."

On September 14, Apple had set up pre-ordering on their website for the iPhone5. In just one hour, the number of products available were sold out.

China has also been working on trying to get their hands on the iPhone5 as well. China's price to import the iPhone has gone up 8-fold. Dealers are expected to pay around $1,580, which is the highest selling price for the iPhone5. This is twice as much as the price for the iPhone4S.

Korea has also been high in demand for the iPhone5. They predict that this year alone they will probably sell over 200,000. It looks like there will be some competition between the iPhone5 and the Samsung Galaxy SIII.
