Kit Harington Talks 'Game Of Thrones' In An Interview With GQ: Actor Discusses What Frustrates Him Most About His Role As Jon Snow; Says He Is Not Allowed To Cut His Hair [PHOTO]

In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Kit Harington discussed his role on HBO's "Game of Thrones" and what he finds most frustrating about playing Jon Snow.

When asked about his general feelings on "Game of Thrones," Harington replied, "'Game of Thrones' is my life, it's my day job, I love it. But honestly, if there is a curse of Thrones, it's a lifetime of having to talk about it."

According to Cinema Blend, Harington has nabbed other big roles since his breakthrough role as Jon Snow - including the lead in "Pompeii" and a voiceover role in "How to Train Your Dragon 2." However, he will probably always be known for his part in "Game of Thrones," like it or not.

One explanation for this is that Harington is not allowed to cut his hair. Well, at least not until "Game of Thrones" ends or his character Jon Snow dies in the series - whichever comes first. However, it's not all bad. Harington stated, "I'm more recognizable in public than much better-known actors. So many people watch, and I go around looking like my character."

And what about keeping on a solemn face at all times? Harington replied, "I'd get people coming up to me in the street and asking if I was OK. But this is my default. I laugh, I make jokes, I just happen to reside in this face."

Though acting in "Game of Thrones" comes with some cons, it also comes with some pretty big pros. The show has helped to raise the profiles of many of the actors and actresses on the series, and has helped them make big breaks at relatively young ages. When asked about being able to find success so quickly, Harington replied, "It would be foolish to say I wish I'd gone through a period of longing. Because any actors going through a period of longing themselves would tear my f***ing face off."

For those waiting in anticipation, "Game of Thrones" is expected to return to the schedule this spring.
