Jimmy Fallon Welcomes Baby Girl No. 2 With Wife Nancy! Winnie Fallon Is Now A Big Sister!

If you were surprised when Jimmy Fallon announced the arrival of his first daughter Winnie, prepared to be shocked again!

The "Tonight Show" host, 40, and his wife Nancy Juvonen, 47, welcomed their second child into the world today. The couple's new baby girl, Frances Cole Fallon, was born on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 8:45 a.m.

Little Frances, or "Franny" as the parents appear to have nicknamed her, weighed in at 5 lbs., 11 ounces and is 18.5 inches long, according to the couple's rep. According to E! News, Fallon and his wife decided to keep the pregnancy a secret until their daughter was born.

"Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, 1," said the family's rep in a statement. "The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter, Frances Cole, made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate."

It appears Fallon is taking a little paternity leave. NBC reportedly told E! News, "Due to unexpected but delightful circumstances, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon has had to cancel tapings for today and tomorrow."

The proud dad of two commented on the birth of his newest child on Twitter, writing, "Franny sends her thanks."

P.S. Jimmy was also named Entertainer of the Year today by Entertainment Weekly. So, could the timing of Franny's arrival have been any more perfect?

Just last year, Fallon opened up to the "Today Show" about the 5-year struggle he and his wife endured to get pregnant before Winnie's arrival.

"I know people have tried much longer (than we have), but if there's anyone out there who is trying and they're just losing hope ... just hang in there," said the late night host. "Try every avenue; try anything you can do, 'cause you'll get there. You'll end up with a family, and it's so worth it. It is the most 'worth it' thing."

He also couldn't help but add, "I'm just so happy right now, I'm freaking out."

Congrats to the happy family!
