Nicki Minaj ‘The Pinkprint’ Album Reveals Songstress Lost Baby At 15; Safaree Samuels Ex Also Raps About Being Engaged A Decade Ago

Nicki Minaj might be known for belting out blithesome songs but in her latest single entitled "All Things Go," the songstress revealed intimate family matters - one of them about losing a child at the tender age of 15.

Part of the song talks about her regrets about wanting her baby to grow up: I want 'Caiah to go to college, just to say 'We did it!'/My child with Aaron, would've been sixteen, any minute/So in some ways I feel like 'Caiah is the both of them/It's like he's 'Caiah's little angel looking over him."

The "Bang Bang" hit maker, however, did not divulge how she lost her child although as per Hollywood Life, she rapped about an abortion in the song "Autobiography" in 2008. Some of the lyrics included:

"Please baby, forgive me, mommy was young, mommy was too busy tryna have fun/and now I don't pat myself on the back for sending you back."

In her latest album, the 31-year-old also rapped about an engagement that took place ten years ago. Many assumed that she rapped about her relationship with Safaree Samuels. The two have been dating since teenagers but their romance recently resulted in a split that's far from amicable.

"Cherish these days, man do they go quick or just yesterday / I swear it was o' six orten years ago when you proposed or I looked down / Yes, I suppose," she rapped.

Safaree Samuels' ex-girlfriend also misses her mother especially after she made a name in the music industry.
"I love my mother more than life itself, and that's a fact/ I'd give it all, somehow if I could, just rekindle that/ She never understands, why I'm so overprotective/ The more I work, the more I feel like, somehow they're neglected," she rapped.
