Marvel Phase Three Cinematic Universe Will Cast 'Godfather' Star Al Pacino In One Of Its Movies? Which Film In The Lineup Will He Appear In?

It's no secret how much success Marvel has gained when it began launching its very own Cinematic Universe, and now phase three is in the works.

In fact the last of Marvel film for 2014, "Guardians of the Galaxy" starring Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon to name a few of the film's all star cast, impressed the "Godfather" himself Al Pacino that he describes the intergalactic superhero film as something that arouses a "Shakespearean feeling" in him.

In celebration of Venice International Film Festival, Al Pacino, who was discussing two of his movies being screened in the festivities "Manglehorn" and "The Humbling," couldn't help but praise James Gunn's intergalactic film that he candidly talks about being in one of the Marvel films, perhaps part of Phase Three Cinematic Universe, Screen Rant reports.

"I would do anything that I could understand in terms of how I fit in it. And you know, of course if I could fit in it. Anything's possible. You know, I did Dick Tracy and I got an Oscar nomination, so come on. I mean, what can I say?"

The award winning actor's words fueled hopes that he could be a part of the biggest cinematic universe there is in present time.

And on a podcast appearance on "Happy Sad Confused" the "Godfather" star made a thrilling revelation that he has met with Marvel's president Kevin Feige since.

Listen to the interview below:

"I've met with the Marvel guy," the 74-year-old Oscar winning actor revealed, referring to Kevin Feige. "It's a marvel how things happen." He continued, "I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me -" then he was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. He jokingly claimed that it was Marvel's president calling him telling him to shut up. "Every time we talk about Marvel, that's what happens," he quipped.
