'The Mentalist' Season 7 Episode 3 Spoilers: Erica Flynn's Return Spells Trouble For Simon Baker's Jane? Morena Baccarin Happy To Be Back

Erica Flynn is retuning to the series and that the could mean trouble for Patrick Jane, according to "The Mentalist" season 7, episode 3 spoilers. Meanwhile, Morena Baccarin, who plays Simon Baker's nemesis, said that she's just happy to be back in the show.

Monica Baccarin emerged at the end of "The Graybar Hotel" episode and it seems she's out to make a splash, as the actress' character will play a larger role in "Orange Blossom Ice Cream" set on December 14, said the report.

In the season 7, episode 3 spoilers of "The Mentalist," it seems Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon are working on a new case and they have no choice but to use Erica for her specialized skills in order to take down a terror cell. In return, Erica will have her past crimes erased.

But is it really that simple? One would think that Erica has something up her sleeve in order to have her cake and eat it, too.

"The Mentalist" season 7, episode 3 spoilers are revealed through the synopsis which reads: "Jane and Lisbon travel to Beirut where they must work with Jane's familiar adversary, Erica Flynn, who agrees to help the FBI apprehend her boyfriend, a courier for terrorist organizations, in exchange for amnesty for her past crimes."

Monica Baccarin meanwhile told TVLine that she's really happy to be back to reprise her role as Erica Flynn.

"I was really glad to come back one last time before the show went off the air," she says, and with this final encore, "Erica doesn't disappoint. She's of course getting into trouble and conning people all over again, which is nice. It'll be a fun one for fans to watch," she said.
