Tahiry Jose's Attack Leaves Culprit With No Jail Time; 'Love & Hip Hop NYC' Star Still On Therapy For Injuries

The culprit in Tahiry Jose's attack is getting off easy as the "Love & Hip Hop NYC" star is still in therapy for her injuries.

The attacker, identified as Charles Suggs, pleaded guilty to assault for the attack on Tahiry Jose, reported TMZ.

"Suggs copped a plea and got off with no jail time. He has to complete an anger management program and he has to stay clear of Jose for 5 years ... or else," it said.

According to the police report, "Love & Hip Hop NYC" star Tahiry Jose and Charles Suggs had an argument at the sidelines of the Toure Designs show back in September. In the middle of their shouting match, he "snapped, charged her and began throwing punches, dragged her down and kept wailing on her until the crew broke it up."

Back in September, Tahiry Jose thanked her supporters on her Instagram following the brutal attack on the "Love & Hip Hop NYC" star, but she also gave a message on violence against women: "As you may or may not know, on Monday, Sept. 8, I was attacked, assaulted and violated, while in the workplace, by a man. I was beaten because I am woman with a voice and refuse to be disrespected. It is more proof that the violence against women is real and needs to be addressed publicly. The shaming and disrespecting of women/victims of violent abuses must stop. Violence against women must stop; a women's voice and refusal to be disrespected is not grounds for physical abuse. #iamwoman #myvoicematters."

"More to the point, I am home, healing and surrounded by love," she added. "Rest assured, I will continue all my efforts and endeavors with the same faith, determination, passion and spirit I have always possessed."

According to TMZ, "Love & Hip Hop NYC" star Tahiry Jose is still receiving therapy and wearing neck brace following the attack.
