‘Pirates Of The Caribbean 5' News & Rumors: Construction In Full Swing Ahead Of Filming? Producers Still Mum On Casting of 'Woman Character'

The latest news and rumors on "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" revealed that construction is already in full swing in preparation for the movie's filming, as producers are still silent on the final casting of the "woman character."

The Coming Soon website published the photos on the set of what appeared to be a small town being constructed in the middle of a open field.

"Back in October of 2014, it was confirmed that Walt Disney Pictures would be shooting 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' in Queensland, Australia. Now, reader Andrew Thompson has sent us the first photos of the set being constructed for the film in the Gold Coast Hinterland (Queensland)," it said.

Although there is no confirmation, previous news and rumors on "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" suggested that Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as William Turner.

In an interview with IGN Australia during the promotion for "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies," Orlando Bloom said that he hasn't signed yet to reprise his role in the billion-dollar franchise.

"I'm not entirely sure that [I'll be back] just yet, but there are talks," he said.

"I'm of course Davey Jones now, so I'm down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I'm rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won't look anything like me. [Gestures to face] Get all gnarly," he said.

In other "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" news and rumors, Variety reported that the producers are targeting to finalize soon another major role in the fifth installment of the franchise which will be played by a yet-to-be-cast actress.

The magazine said: "Some of the actresses on the list include 'Miss Potter's' Lucy Boynton, 'Endless Love's' Gabriella Wilde, Jenna Thiam, 'Maze Runner's' Kaya Scodelario and Alexandra Dowling of 'The Musketeers.'"
