Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Split: Songstress Having The Time Of Her Life In Dubai, Posts ‘Offensive’ Mosque Photo
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's split is reportedly one of the reasons which prompted the brunette beauty to go on a vacation with her friends Kendall Jenner, Cody Simpson, Gigi Hadid, and Shay Mitchell.
The group celebrated New Year's Day together. The "Heart Wants What It Wants" songstress might be dealing with heartache that she momentarily forgot about the beliefs of others regarding mosques. Gomez posted several photos of her group visiting the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque.
One image sparked controversy because of its "impropriety." While Gomez is in Muslim garb, she intentionally showed her ankle which Muslims considered disrespectful. When visiting mosques, certain rules have to be followed. Aside from not allowing all forms of intimate behavior, skirts have to be ankle length as well.
Several commenters have pointed out the former Disney star's pose which later prompted her to delete the photo. Some commenters said that the group should have went to an amusement park if they wanted to pose silly.
Reports of Justin Bieber dating Hailey Baldwin continue to surface. Many are speculating that the two are now in a relationship for they have been recently spotted several times.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's latest split took place in October following a fight in St. Maarten. Despite the controversy, Hollywood Life claims that the Dubai trip is doing wonders for the "Montecarlo" star's healing.
"Selena is having the time of her life in Dubai. She's been spending time with Harith Bukhash, who has been spoiling her and treating her like an absolute princess. It's like, Justin Bieber who?" claimed one source.
The source added that Gomez loved the attention she got from the 29-year-old businessman: "Harith treated Selena and a group of friends to dinner at Zuma, a popular Japanese restaurant in Dubai the other night. Selena is loving all the attention and is so grateful that her friends convinced her to go to Dubai."
