The chemistry shown by Shailene Woodley and Theo James in "Insurgent" trailer sparked dating rumors, as the 23-year-old actress was nominated for the 2015 BAFTA Rising Star category.

Fans have speculated that Shailene Woodley and Theo James are dating based on the steamy scenes in the "Divergent" sequel.

The two actors have denied that they are more than friends, but they did talk about he emotional journey between their characters, Tris and Four, in "Insurgent" in an interview with Hero Complex.

"There's real stakes behind it, and sometimes that's hard to find in spectacular situations. If you're watching these movies that are spectacles, which are fun and it's about this thing and escapism, sometimes the crux of the emotionality gets lost," Theo James said.

Shailene Woodley added: "I love that the movie follows her arc and it follows this young girl who starts from a very vulnerable place and in the end is still in a very vulnerable place but a very different place internally. I love that you get to watch her grow and learn certain skill sets."

Meanwhile, "Insurgent" star Shailene Woodley was nominated for the BAFTA, which recognizes relatively new actors and actresses with promising potential, for her turn in "The Fault in Our Stars" and "Divergent."

"Her breakthrough role was in the Oscar-winning The Descendants alongside George Clooney, but it was her role in teen adventure film Divergent that really put her on the map," the Daily Mail said.
