News About Nina Dobrev Dating Mark Foster Still Without Confirmation; 'The Vampire Diaries' Actress Moves Past Ian Somerhalder Split This New Year?

Nina Dobrev and Mark Foster have yet to confirm they are dating but "The Vampire Diaries" actress is allegedly determined to move forward from Ian Somerhalder split this New Year.

Despite the lack of denial or confirmation, the Celebrity Dirty Laundry alleged that Nina Dobrev will use the news hype surrounding news that she's dating Mark Foster as a way to kickstart her movie career.

"'The Vampire Diaries' is coming to an end, and Nina has to prove to her agents and to studio executives that she has enough of a brand name to carry her over into film," it said.

Nina Dobrev was included in the cast of "Let's Be Cops" opposite Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. She plays Josie, the love interest of Damon Wayans' character.

The storyline for the movie reads: "It's the ultimate buddy cop movie except for one thing: they're not cops. When two struggling pals dress as police officers for a costume party, they become neighborhood sensations. With her impending crossover to the big screen and considering the new year, rumors claim that Nina Dobrev is all set to put her split with Ian Somerhalder behind.

"Nina Dobrev is prepared to put Ian Somerhalder and 'The Vampire Diaires' behind her as a New Year's resolution taken in New Zealand on her current vacation," Celebrity Dirty Laundry also said in another report.

According to the tabloid, Nina Dobrev is at a crossroads as she can choose to pretend she's not dating Mark Foster, which it described as a "pre-approved young actress guideline," or admit that she's not single and use that relationship "to her PR benefit."

"However, she'll also be forced to put her relationship with Ian Somerhalder behind her, once and for all," it added. "It's been more than a year since their breakup, but neither of them were able to move on completely, despite them finding rebound relationships fairly easily."
