'Castle' Season 7 Spoilers: Midseason Premiere Shows Rick And Kate's Banter Over His New Role As P.I.

"Castle" season 7 spoilers show Rick and Kate banter as he introduces himself as a private investigator.

The synopsis for this particular episode reads: "When a young Latin telenovela actress is murdered, Beckett and the team delve into a case that is as flamboyant and full of intrigue as any telenovela. Meanwhile, Castle is hired as private investigator by the show's sultry star to pursue the case from another angle."

Meanwhile, the preview clip teases spoilers for "Castle" season 7. The video starts with the team investigating a crime scene when Rick barges in.

"I'll take it from here..." he says aloud.

Kate is surprised by his entrance as she says, "Castle? What are you doing? You know you are not allowed to be here."

"Actually, I am," Rick smugly says. "Because I'm no longer Richard Castle ordinary citizen. I am now Richard Castle, private investigator."

"You got your PI's license? Without telling me..."

"I took an online course, finished last night. Are you surprised?"

Kate then asks him to talk privately and informs him that whether he got the PI license or not, the District Attorney's Office still won't allow him to investigate with the police.

"Oh, that's the brilliant part. I'm not going to be investigating with you, No. instead I will be conducting my own parallel investigation alongside yours," he says, before adding: "As a licensed PI, i'm legally entitled to investigate this case in behalf of my client."

But Kate tells him that the crime scene is closed and he would have to go.

"That's alright, I've already seen everything I need to hear anyway. I'll conduct my investigation elsewhere."

"Elsewhere where?

Rick then tells her that it's confidential.
