Pregnant Kate Middleton's Maternity Fashion Influenced By Sister Pippa? Duchess Of Cambridge's Baby Bump Barely There At Six Months

Pregnant Kate Middleton must be taking maternity fashion advice from her sister Pippa as the Duchess of Cambridge's baby bump still not fully visible at six months.

According to the New York Observer, the pregnant Kate Middleton has been trying to change her wardrobe to reflect a "more edgy" look.

Prince Williams' wife reportedly hired stylist Natasha Archer to help her wardrobe and managed to point her toward trying shorter hemlines as well as taking on gowns from Jenny Packham and Alice Temperley.

"Curiously, some of Catherine's recent looks have been aesthetically similar to the style favored by her sister, Pippa Middleton, who perpetually misses the mark style-wise," it said. "Plenty has been written about the younger Middleton's just-slightly-off fashion sense."

Now that Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child, the publication observed that the Duchess of Cambridge wore "sheer, black lace dresses" in multiple occasions.

"The effect can be jarring; in one of her first appearances after announcing her pregnancy, her bouncy, wavy hair clashed loudly with the severe sheer striping on a black A-line dress. In November, she looked like the heroine of a paperback romance novel in a floor-length lace dress. Her hair, again, clashed angrily," it added.

Speaking of pregnancy, Kate Middleton's baby bump is barely there and she can thank her genes for that, said the UK Express.

The publication added that when Kate Middleton was pregnant with baby George, her slim figure remained the same and she quickly shed off the post-baby weight in weeks.

"The Duchess of Cambridge, who attended a fostering event in London today wearing a brown £50 dress from high-street favourite Hobbs, is showing a slight glimmer of a bump," it said.

CNN even tweeted this comment regarding pregnant Kate Middleton's baby bump, "Look closely because you just might miss it."
