Hilary Duff Is Okay With Not Being The ‘Skinniest Person’; Former Disney Star Even Managed To Laugh Despite Tripping In High Heels

Hilary Duff is aware that she does not have a statuesque figure and she's perfectly fine with it. In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the former Disney star said that she feels other people's struggle when it comes to eating.

"I'm in the same struggle [others are in] every day," she said. However, instead of wallowing in despair, the mother-of-one chooses to have a positive outlook in life. She claims that as long as she's fit and healthy, it's fine if she won't be deemed skinny.

"I just tell myself, 'I'm 5'2", I'm really fit, killing it in the gym, and doing crazy things.' I love to work out, but I'm just not that concerned with being the skinniest person," she said.

The 27-year-old likewise adds that she's an actress and not a model.

"I always feel like I'm in the five to ten pound struggle, but my life is so busy. I'm just not that concerned, really. I'm normal and I'm perfectly happy being that way," added the "Lizzie McGuire" actress.

The "Cadet Kelly" star indeed has a happy disposition for she managed to laugh despite tripping in high heels last Friday while she was leaving The Nice Guy restaurant in West Hollywood.

Several bystanders immediately reached out their hands to help Duff get back on her feet. Duff was casually clad in a white sweater and a pair of black trousers.

She is currently filming for the upcoming TV series, "Younger".
