Kristen Stewart Okay With Being Axed From ‘Snow White And The Huntsman 2’: ‘I’m Sure I Could Get On Board With Captain America’

Kristen Stewart might not be on board for "Snow White and the Huntsman 2" but the brunette beauty appears to be fine with it as she recently expressed her interest to be a part of a DC or Marvel film.

After rising to fame because of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" saga, Stewart opted to broaden her acting portfolio by starring in several independent films such as "Camp X-Ray," "Still Alice," and "Clouds of Sils Maria."

In an interview with Yahoo Movies, Stewart talked about her desire to be a part of a superhero movie: "I would love to show people that I can do more than just be 'Kristen Stewart' in a different movie, in a different circumstance."

She added that her experience playing a strong role in "Snow White and the Huntsman" might be her stepping stone for a superhero blockbuster: "I'm sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean?"

The 24-year-old, however, opted not to further discuss the "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel. While many initially believed that she'd still be the focus of the movie, Universal opted to give the story a different direction.

The sequel will instead focus on Chris Hemsworth's journey as a huntsman. Reports have surfaced as well that Emily Blunt would join the cast. The "Into the Woods" actress will reportedly play the role of the Snow Queen who is unstoppable in avenging the death of her sister, Ravenna (Charlize Theron).

Theron will still be included in the film and Stewart, on the other hand, will possibly have a cameo.

Do you think Stewart is a good fit for superhero films?
