‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Passes Drug Test; MTV Star Determined To ‘Clean Up Wreckage From The Past’

With drug accusations hounding "Teen Mom 2" cast member Leah Messer last year, the reality star may now take a breather as she reportedlly passed her drug test.

Apart from marital woes, Leah Messer also had to deal with drug rumors with some even accusing that she needed to enter rehab.

The rumors intensified when one "Teen Mom 2" episode showed the 22-year-old talking about her prescription pills for anxiety. One source previously told InTouch that the young mom allegedly couldn't go a day without drugs.

"I've seen Leah pop a handful of pills, chew them like they were candy and swallow them. She doesn't even need anything to wash them down with. It's [actually] the pain from withdrawal that bothers her, not her back. She can't go a day without opiates," claimed the source.

Nonetheless, "Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer might soon shame her detractors after reportedly passing her drug test. An InTouch Weekly tipster claims that Messer's "ecstatic" upon seeing the results. It is likewise important to note that Messer still has the custody of twins Ali and Aleeah after last year's court battle.

Last year, Messer's ex-husband, Corey Simms, tried to win full custody of the twins. The agreement, however, remained the same. It means that the twins still get to stay with their mom while Simms can visit them for a few days in a week.

Leah Messer's current husband, Jeremy Calvert, is yet to speak about the rumors surrounding their marriage. The two are apparently trying to patch things up although Brittany Musick, the alleged "other woman," recently told the MTV reality star to put her husband "on a leash."

Calvert allegedly tried to woo Musick and while they may have exchanged flirty text messages, Musick rejected him after finding out that he's not yet divorced.

Fans will have further information about this drama when "Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer gets back to the MTV show. Despite her initial refusal to join the show's sixth season, she eventually gave in and signed a contract.

"She's telling everyone she's determined to make a complete turnaround. She's ready to clean up the wreckage from her past," claimed one source as reported by Inquisitr.
