Kate Upton Still Front Runner As Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover Girl? Sexiest Woman Alive In For A Competition With New Carl's Jr. Endorser

Kate Upton seems to remain the front runner to be the cover girl for the next Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue as People's Sexiest Woman Alive faces competition from another busty model, Charlotte McKinney, for Carl's Jr. Super Bowl commercial.

According to FanShare, Kate Upton first made heads turn during the swimsuit issue of the magazine back in 2011. She was then named as the Rookie of the Year.

"Following that, Kate then appeared on the cover of the publication in 2012, before then landing on the cover again in 2013," it said. "Last year, while she was not on the front cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2014, she was on the back, showing that the publication still has much love for her."

Meanwhile, Charlotte McKinney, said HuffPost, is billed to be the next Kate Upton as she's the face of the "Au Naturel" ad from the burger chain.

The fastfood joint is hoping to get the same reaction for the new model as it did for Kate Upton in her earlier appearances for Carl's Jr.

Earlier, the company released a statement how the ads featuring People's Sexiest Woman Alive help spike sales of its burgers.

In the new Carl's Jr. ad, Charlotte McKinney model seems to be naked while walking around farmer's market. But toward the end, she is later showed wearing a bikini top and shorts.

On being compared to Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton, Charlotte McKinney said, "I'm my own person. I think we both have a different style of what we're going to do. I hope it's Charlotte McKinney and not the next Kate Upton."

But HuffPost said that it's difficult not to compare Charlotte McKinney from Kate Upton because they both have full figures and the Sports Illustrated model also appeared in a Carl's jr. Super Bowl commercial that was banned for being too racy.
