The "Vampire Diaries" actress posted a photo of her cat beside a teddy bear. While it appears to be a harmless photo of Ms. Cuddles (the bear), the caption might tell a different story.
"Ms. Cuddles trying to cuddle up to my Lynx. But my lynx doesn't like fake b****," Dobrev captioned the photo.
While some might associate it to Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's engagement, others think that Nina Dobrev's post pertains to an upcoming episode of the CW series. After all, the show has many stealthy and manipulative characters.
Meanwhile, the "Twilight" actress is confident that she will have a great future with Somerhalder, "Honestly just the endless possibilities, you know? We have such an amazing future ahead of us and anything we put our minds to will become a reality."
One of the reasons why Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed get along so well is because of their compassion for abused or abandoned animals.
"From the time I was a little kid, she let us bring in any and everything that needed a home. We had baby coyotes and raccoons and squirrels, anything that needed to be dropper-fed," Reed once told People magazine.
"And this was before the Internet, so it was my mom and I at 10 p.m. going to an emergency vet when we didn't have five dollars to our name, just to ask a vet tech what we should do," she said.
The pair recently adopted a cat, which was previously branded as "ferocious."
Ian Somerhalder, however, claimed that the cat is lovable. He even urged people not to be intimidated by labels because at times, workers in pet adoption centers tend to misjudge an animal.
At present, the couple has dogs, cats, horses, and even a rat.
