'Revenge' Season 4 Star Emily VanCamp On Boyfriend Josh Bowman's Character's Death: 'It's Just Brutal'

"Revenge" season 4 star Emily VanCamp weighed in on the death of Daniel Grayson, played by her real-life boyfriend Josh Bowman, as she amusingly claimed that the fans were very angry with them.

"I think they're pretty pissed at us!" she told E! News. "I mean, you know, it was something that was discussed a while back, and it was a way to move the story forward."

"And you know, we lose people on this show. It's brutal and it's awful because we all love each other and we really do get along, so it's just brutal," she added.

But Emily VanCamp said that fans shouldn't be surprised by the death of Daniel Grayson, which to her boyfriend Josh Bowman getting the boot out of the show.

"I mean we were saying it's season 4, and it's a show called 'Revenge,' you can't do anything by halves, it's gotta be all or nothing and I think we are really doing that," the "Revenge" season 4 star claimed.

Gabriel Mann added that Daniel Grayson's death only means the producers "are not afraid to go in any direction in this show and they are swinging for the rafters for the second half of the season."

Will Emily Thorne's mother come back in "Revenge" season 4?

Emily VanCamp replied, "Jennifer Jason Leigh is so amazing and I would love for her to come back, but I don't really know if what they have planned for that. I think they've just been wanting to explore this crazy relationship with her father that everybody thought has been dead for so many years."

In a report from Cartermatt, "Revenge" season 4 star Emily VanCamp might find herself in a quandary as her character, Emily Thorne" is about to make a decision whether she will reveal her true identity or not."

"David Clarke encourages her that since he is happy being completely out in the open about who he is, it is very well possible that she could find a similar amount of happiness in it, as well," the report said. "As a matter of fact, he encourages her to give it a try, and be completely out in the open about her identity. After all, he feels that she is going to be a whole lot happier as a result of it."
