Olivia Culpo Not Ready To Get Engaged To Nick Jonas? Miss Universe 2012 Panics As Jonas Brother Gets Down On His Knees

Olivia Culpo might not be ready to take her relationship with Nick Jonas to another level, as the Miss Universe 2012 reportedly panicked when the singer got down on his knees during the recent Miss Universe pageant.

Nick Jonas talked to The Sun on the funny story about how girlfriend Olivia Culpo thought she was going to get engaged that day.

"I went down and sang to her and I go on a knee and approached her," he said. "Her face was in full panic, she thought I was going to propose on national TV in front of one billion people."

The former one-third member of Jonas Brothers performed "Jealous," "Teacher" and "Chains" at the Trump National Hotel in Doral, Florida.

But Nick Jonas said that he's not rushing his engagement with Olivia Culpo because they are just 22 years old, and "there's plenty of time to do that."

The couple started dating in 2013.

"I met her at a Fashion Week party a couple years back," Nick Jonas told Access Hollywood. "It's been an amazing year and a half now. She's the best."

As to getting engaged to Olivia Culpo, Nick Jonas said, "At some point. It would be ideal [to settle down], but we're still quite young and we're going on a journey."

Nick Jonas performed in the Miss Universe 2015 and girlfriend Olivia Culpo, who once held the crown as Miss USA in 2012, was there to support him.

Hollywood Life reported that Olivia Culpo managed to steal the limelight away from boyfriend Nick Jonas by wearing a figure-hugging dress with a very low neckline that revealed too much cleavage.

"The former Miss America champion let her dress do the talking, keeping her accessories to a minimum with just a diamond bracelet and her hair down simple and straight," it said.
