Katy Perry's Super Bowl performance certainly made headlines and while others praised her dance moves and outfits, some couldn't help wonder if she subtly dissed Taylor Swift.

When the songstress performed "California Girls," her backup dancers donned perky retro-inspired bikinis, which reportedly resemble Swift's signature swimwear for her Cape Cod summer getaway with Connor Kennedy in 2012.

Some got wondering if the dancers were asked to wear their outfits for a reason. After all, the alleged Taylor Swift and Katy Perry feud started because of backup dancers.

Katy Perry reportedly tried to sabotage Taylor Swift's show by attempting to steal her backup dancers.

Last October, Swift talked to Rolling Stone magazine about the single she wrote, "Bad Blood." As per Taylor Swift, for years, she wondered if she's friends or enemies with one particular artist. The singer-songwriter said that this artist would approach her to tell something and she'd wonder if the artist gave a compliment or a subtle insult.

However, one incident reportedly confirmed everything.

"She did something so horrible," Swift told the magazine. "I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."

"And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational - you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it," Taylor Swift added.

The "I Kissed a Girl" hit maker, on the other hand, opted to reply by asking people to be careful about "Regina George in sheep's clothing."

During a pre-interview for Super Bowl, Katy Perry also told Billboard that fans would definitely know if someone would try to sabotage her character.

"If somebody is trying to defame my character, you're going to hear about it," said John Mayer's on-again girlfriend.
