Megan Fox Set To Reprise Role For 'Transformers 5?' 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle' Actress Reunites With Michael bay

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" actress Megan Fox is reportedly going to reprise the role that launched her to stardom in "Transformers 5," as reports point to a reunion with director Michael Bay.

According to Movie Pilot, Michael Bay will be back for the fifth installment in the franchise but not in the director's chair, as he's more content to produce the action movie.

Megan Fox's departure from the "Transformers" franchise was reportedly due to her comments about Michael Bay's directorial, or as some dubbed dictatorial style, and even went so far as comparing the director to Hitler.

But the two have since patched things up as they worked together for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," which Michael Bay also produced.

"It's not like Michael Bay doesn't know that Megan Fox greatly improves box office figures," Movie Pilot said. "He produced that 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' thing she was in, and the success of that movie still has analysts working overtime to try and decode a reason that doesn't just add up to Megan Fox."

If Megan Fox will sign on to do "Transformers 5," she will join "Age of Extinction" star Mark Wahlberg, who earlier confirmed to MTV that fans would be seeing a lot of him in the robots movie.

"Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more," he said.

When asked if Michael Bay is returning as director, Mark Wahlberg replied, "I can't speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we'll be on the set soon."

Michael Bay already said that he's not keen on directing "Transformers 5," and that could make it easier for Megan Fox to jump on board.

"There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make," the mega-producer told USA Today. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles."
