The report noted their possible public reunion might cause a big backlash knowing that Ian Somerhalder is about to tie the knot with the "Twilight' star.
The possible reunion might also cause accusations that Ian Somerhalder only intended to make Nikki Reed as a rebound in order to move on immediately with his beak-up from Nina Dobrev.
Meanwhile, the rumors are allegedly making Nikki Reed worry about the status of their engagement and their eventual wedding this June.
"Nikki is allegedly becoming increasingly worried about the recent change in the dynamics between Ian and Nina on the "Vampire Diaries" set," the report added.
