Ciara's NZ Concert Disappoints Fans; 'Body Party' Singer's Show Starts Late, Ends After Only 10 Minutes?

Ciara's concert in NZ last week reportedly disappointed her fans, as the "Body Party" singer's show started late and ended after only ten minutes.

According to a report from New York Daily News, around 1,500 fans waited for the R&B songstress at Ilam Fields in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Ciara's concert in NZ was scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. However, the 29-year-old diva appeared only by 11 p.m. To make matters worse for her already upset fans, the show allegedly only ran for 10 minutes.

Ticket prices for Ciara's concert in NZ ranged from $48 to more than $100 for VIP tickets.

"It's just a lot of money for students and you expect someone to perform a good set," said one attendee.

"You don't expect to pay money to see someone perform five songs. It's just about a tenth of what you'd expect."

Another person who was present at Ciara's concert in NZ shared how fans got so upset about the very short performance following a very long waiting period.

"I saw a couple of cans being thrown onto the stage," the concertgoer shared.

"Pretty much the whole crowd was booing her, which was unfortunate."

The people behind Ciara's concert in NZ addressed the whole fiasco by issuing a statement via Facebook.

"The Event Team wish to apologize for the events which took place last night, although it was outside out control we are truly sorry," said a certain Matty Pelua, who spoke on behalf of the promotion and touring agency Ginnen Group.

"We, like you, are disappointed that the headline act was unable to perform as we had been assured they would from the booking agent."

The team will also be issuing refunds for disappointed attendees from the Ciara concert in NZ.

"We want to reassure all Meet & Great ticket holders that you will receive a full refund. We are also happy to negotiate part refunds for other ticket holders," the statement read.

Some fans got so distraught that they pointed out how it would have been better if Ciara did not perform at all.

"It was a bit of a scam that she came on in the end at all, because it just would have been easier for us almost if she hadn't come on," one attendee said.

"It was a bit like she came on and played her songs so they could say she played."
