‘Into The Forest’ Actress Ellen Page Remains Mum On Dating; Shailene Woodley’s Rumored Girlfriend Says She Felt Like A New Person When She Came Out
"Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page remained mum about her dating status when she was interviewed by a Brazilian TV show. Shailene Woodley's rumored girlfriend also revealed that she felt like a new person when she came out in February last year.
The 28-year-old actress said, "No comment," when asked if she is currently seeing someone, Pink News said in a report.
Meanwhile, "Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page, who starred in the said movie with self-confessed bisexual actress Evan Rachel Wood, also revealed that she "felt like a better person" when she came out as gay.
The "Juno" star revealed, "I immediately felt like I am a new person. This weight that you don't even realize necessarily that you're carrying just completely disappears."
Ellen Page was in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil to film a documentary about the LGBT community in the country, Just Jared said.
Last year, "Into the Forest" actress Ellen Page was rumored to be dating "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley last year.
According to reports, the two were spotted going on a series of dates, which fueled rumored that they are dating.
The "Divergent" star also said in an interview before that she is open to dating women.
Apart from Ellen Page, Shailene Woodley was also linked to her "Divergent" co-star Theo James.
In Valentine's Day last year, Ellen Page came out as gay in an LGBT community conference where she revealed that she kept her secret of being a lesbian for years. She related how she struggled to come out of the closet as she feared being rejected by people.
Ellen Page said in front of hundreds of youths, "I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission."
Since coming out, the "Into the Forest" actress has been an advocate of pro-LGBT rights and even slammed a few personalities.
Recently, she slammed the Queen's decision to honor a homophobic politician. The said politician was reported to have linked gay people from Hurricane Katrina with the spreading of AIDS in Africa.
