Lil Wayne's Feud With Birdman Becomes Precedent For Jas Prince Lawsuit? Label Drama Leaves Weezy 'Numb To It'

Although Lil Wayne is already "numb" to all the drama surrounding his feud with Birdman, Jas Prince is not about to sit lightly as he insisted Cash Money still owes him for hooking Drake with the label.

"Jas Prince talked to us about the lawsuit he recently filed ... as he was leaving Mr. Chow in Bev Hills," said TMZ. " We asked if there's been any progress with Birdman on the financial front, and it's clear he -- like Lil Wayne and Turk -- doesn't have much left to say about the debt."

Jas Prince filed the lawsuit last month demanding that Birdman should open the books for Cash Money, particularly on the amount of money Drake has brought into the label.

"Jas is pissed because he's gotten a grand total of $2 million for his find, even though he was promised a huge chunk of the profits. And there are reports Cash Money has made $40 million from Drake," the report said.

Meanwhile, BET bumped into Lil Wayne in New Orleans and asked him for updates on the Birdman feud.

"I'm numb to it, to tell you the truth," he said.

Lil Wayne filed a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money so he couldn't really talk about details of the case. But he did say that he's hurting because of the feud with Birdman.

"I'm human. But it's nothing that a good blunt can't cure."

Weezy also claimed that he's still working on The Free Weezy Album, which will be dropping in March, even as the release of "Tha Carter V" under Cash Money label is still unknown.

"I'm working on it every day, man. I guarantee it's going to be something dope. If you don't want a musician being creative, don't get 'The Free Weezy Album,'" he said.

Part of the lawsuit that Lil Wayne filed against Birdman in light of their feud claimed that Cash Money violated the 1998 Recording Agreement as amended in 2012 for his failure to pay Weezy the $8 million payment "upon commencement of the recording" and for "paying Carter only Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) over the course of the recording of Tha Carter V."
