"Fashion Police" news reported how ex-host Kelly Osbourne will be replaced very soon. According to Us Magazine, reality stars Khloe Kardashian and Nene Leakes are being eyed to join the show following its fiasco involving mainstay Giuliana Rancic and actress-singer Zendaya Coleman.
The teen star and friend of Kelly Osbourne was criticized by Giuliana Rancic during the show's Oscars 2015 red carpet review. The mainstay slammed the 18-year-old for wearing dreadlocks during the formal event, saying she "probably smelled like patchouli oil or weed".
"They did the Zendaya segment three times," an insider previously revealed to Us Magazine.
"Three different takes. On the first two takes, Kelly said 'Guys, we can't say this. Zendaya is a friend of the show.'"
Giuliana Rancic's comments were still aired, and "Fashion Police" quickly made news for her alleged racist comments. Even though the statuesque host apologized, the issue apparently drove Kelly Osbourne to leave the show.
"Kelly Osbourne is departing E!'s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities," the official statement read, reported by Hollywood Reporter just days after the now infamous Oscars 2015 red carpet review episode.
While the network's statement read that they have yet to decide on a replacement for Kelly Osbourne, "Fashion Police" news from Us Magazine said that Khloe Kardashian and Nene Leakes are being considered to fill in the vacated spot.
A source explained that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has previously been approached to be part of "Fashion Police".
"She was supposed to do it last time and passed," an insider revealed.
"She may consider doing it again but the offer would have to be really high. It's a lot of extra work for her."
As for Nene Leakes, the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star was among the names being tossed around last year to replace late host Joan Rivers. The late comedy icon's slot was eventually filled in by her protégé, comic Kathy Griffin.
